
Crazy-Good Cheesy Sausage Muffins
Savory sausage and cheddar muffins are perfect for breakfast or brunch.
Ingredients
- 1 pound breakfast sausage cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup or sugar
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
- Extra cheese for topping optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease a muffin tin.
- Cook the sausage until browned and drain.
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Stir in sausage and cheese.
- In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, and butter. Combine with dry ingredients.
- Fill muffin cups and bake 16–18 minutes until golden.
