
Slow Cooker Beef Brisket with BBQ Sauce
Tender beef brisket slow-cooked until juicy and finished with a flavorful homemade BBQ sauce.
Equipment
- 1.5 –2 kg 3–4 lb beef brisket
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Rub
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 3/4 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- BBQ Sauce
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 1/2 cups ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons black pepper
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Combine the rub ingredients and coat the brisket well. Let rest if time allows.
- Mix BBQ sauce ingredients in the slow cooker and place the brisket inside.
- Cook on low for 8–10 hours until tender. Slice and serve with sauce.
