Slow Cooker Beef Brisket with BBQ Sauce

Tender beef brisket slow-cooked until juicy and finished with a flavorful homemade BBQ sauce.

1.5 –2 kg 3–4 lb beef brisket
1 tablespoon olive oil
Rub
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons paprika
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
3/4 teaspoon mustard powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
BBQ Sauce
2 garlic cloves minced
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons black pepper
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons mustard powder
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Combine the rub ingredients and coat the brisket well. Let rest if time allows.
Mix BBQ sauce ingredients in the slow cooker and place the brisket inside.
Cook on low for 8–10 hours until tender. Slice and serve with sauce.
